SiO Shape vase

This sculptural piece, created from a combination of Murano glass and ceramic, explores the dialogue between volume and shape. Two contrasting surfaces are made evident: one is organic and rough, the other one is transparent and shines. The idea is to use two aesthetically different materials but with the same chemical base. Roberta Verteramo wants to express how matter takes shape from the same origin and can be experienced with an organic aspect or with a smooth aspect.
