This image shows a detail of a larger embroidered design made up of repeated elements. It was created using the Lunéville embroidery technique with a beading needle on gold-coloured silk organza. On one element, the tambour embroidery technique is used. A tessellation was first applied in the middle with gold-coloured thread. The next layer is embroidered on top of it.
