Sardines

This mosaic, handcrafted from inverted white Venetian gold, Venetian smalti and crystals, is crafted using the direct technique on an old farmhouse door. This door immediately appeared to Rossella as a blank canvas on which to create a school of brilliant fish swimming in the crystalline sea. The mosaic, created to be hung on a wall, has a depth of 4cm and the total weight is 23kg.
