Rebirth

Part of the “Phoenix” collection inspired by the mythological bird who rises from its ashes, this work evokes the birth of something new after a personal, intimate transformation. The base is made from dried materials shaped to form an open eggshell, with scadoxus petals and passiflora tendrils inside. At the very centre, the artist's favourite flower: a single dandelion.
