Made on silver, golden, polychrome and ferreted sheepskin. The gilt leather panel technique used by Jose Carlos is known as the Guadamecí Umayyad technique, it dates from the 10th century. This piece represents the Tree of Life, an ornamental icon used in all civilizations. It has many philosophical and religious meanings. This is inspired by the ataurique of Medina Azahara de Córdoba.
