This delicate embroidery is a version of the painting Portrait of a Lady by Hans Baldung Grien, for which the embroiderer won second prize in the "Versiona Thyssen VIII" competition organised by the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid. Minia embroidered it by hand on a photograph of the painting with 100 percent DMC Mouliné and Retors cotton threads. She used the fern stitch, the loom point, the french knot and the backstitch, among other embroidery and weaving techniques.
