Made in 2019 at the Ishoken Ceramics Institute, Tajimi, Japan, this vase uses local Japanese porcelain and screen printing as its central decoration. A combination of a wheel-spun base and porcelain panels makes its unique shape. It was fired in a reduction gas kiln at a high temperature of 1260 degrees.
