In the North Winds

This mosaic features two cypresses in light motion. They are composed of green marble in the shaded part and yellow in the illuminated part. Their shadows are rendered with black Argos marble, and the wind-blown background with white Thassos marble. Eva Papadopoulou's technique is characterized by small fragments of marble that she applies onto a wooden board.
