Disruption
This sculptural ceramic vase has ceramic nails drilled into the outer surface. The vase was modelled in porcelain on the lathe and the nails were modelled in the slipcasting technique with a mix of several Brazilian clays. The piece preserves the natural tones caused by manganese, iron oxide and porcelain, and remains unglazed.
