This two-piece sculpture has a black base and white petals forming a flower bud at the top. Each petal, sculpted and joined with barbotine, is accented with red, burgundy and turquoise. Twice fired at 1230ºC, the colours and shapes of this piece evoke the delicate elegance of a blooming flower. It could be a chrysanthemum or a sea anemone.
