Sapphire Phoenix Series
Part of the Phoenix Series Collection, these three single crystal- and blue-coloured crushed pieces of glass set up a new scenery, depicting leaves, striving towards heaven. Sandra shaped them by hand after the glass had been heated up to 800°C in the kiln. The sculpture's crystalline structure is sparkling and shining bright when touched by rays of sunlight.
