Libri Tessuti 1

These two books were produced by Lisa Fontana for the final project of her master's in textile creation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. The Libri Tessuti are a sort of historical compendium of hand weaving and its almost infinite technical-expressive possibilities. They are the result of in-depth research on various textile traditions, revisited by Lisa, and the pieces of textile were made with 4 and 8 heddle hand looms, using hemp, bourrette silk, wool and rags.
