Madrid Strawberry Tree

This original tapestry was woven by hand on a high-warp loom. It features a combination of taffeta stitches and carpet to give volume. It is an interpretation of the arbutus fruit on a study of colour composition in shades of greenish blue, turquoise blue and off-white.
