Ice star
Inspired by the marine world, this sculpture is woodturned and carved from a single block of plane wood. After an initial hollowing process, the piece was cut open as much as possible, leaving only the branches. The texture was created using a dental turbine. The colour was applied with airbrush paints in a blue-to-white gradient and finished with a matte varnish.
