Glass sculptor Adrienne Diamond based in Ireland & Irish fellow Fiona Byrne
The closure of Ireland’s last glassblowing course in 2014 underscored the need to preserve this fragile craft – a need deeply felt by Adrienne, founder of Glass Farm in County Leitrim. With over four decades of experience, she stands as a vital custodian of knowledge, offering future artisans a rare and invaluable connection to the tradition of her craft.
Fiona, who trained at Dublin’s National College of Art and Design, is re-establishing herself as a maker after a long break. In her work she focuses on how a greater connection with body, material and place can reshape how we interact with the world.
