The fourth edition of Homo Faber Fellowship has begun
This September, our new duos of master artisans and emerging craft talents kicked off their journey with a masterclass in Venice. At the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, mere steps from Homo Faber 2026: An Island of Light, the fellows learned valuable business and design skills as part of a new collaboration with the IE School of Architecture & Design – and all while immersed in a month-long celebration of global craftsmanship.
Following a month-long masterclass in Venice, our 29 fellows of 21 nationalities have joined their master artisans’ workshops in 16 European countries. Over the next six months they will work in one of 20 craft disciplines and develop a co-created object with their master artisan.
Homo Faber Fellowship is an eight-month international craft training programme for duos of master artisans and emerging craft talents.
Applications for the next Homo Faber edition open on 2 November – https://www.homofaber.com/en/nextgen/fellowship/
