Create your very own mosaic piece

Join Kalliopi Kalaitzidou for a mosaic workshop to discover the ancient art of mosaic, a rich part of Greek history and tradition. This 1.5-hour course begins with a brief overview of mosaic art from antiquity to the present day. Participants will then be introduced to the craft by working on assembling a piece. Following this hands-on experience, they will learn more about the materials and the tools, through designing their very own mosaic and composing it with marble tesserae in classical and geometrical reference designs. At the end of the workshop, students will take home their handmade mosaic as a lasting souvenir of their creative journey with Kalliopi.
