Four-hour fabric weaving course in Lausanne

Join Léonore Graff for a weekend activity of discovering weaving, where you will create the fabric for your very own pouch in her atelier, in the heart of Lausanne. With no prior knowledge needed and all equipment on site, Léonore will introduce you to her looms, the art of weaving and the technicalities of her craft. You will then choose your own patterns and colours to create a pouch fabric of your own. After that, it will be your turn to try – sit down at the loom, get to know the movements and start working on your own fabric, all with the supervision and master-tips of Léonore. You will leave the class with all the essentials of weaving, as well as the fabric you have woven for your pouch. You will then have the option to sew the pouch yourself at home, or entrust the fabric to Léonore, who can arrange for a seamstress to complete it for an additional 25 CHF.
