A 3-hour weaving workshop in Casablanca

The IDYR weaving workshop is a 3-hour hands-on experience. Each participant receives a kit with a small loom, recycled thread, 3 to 4 fabric strips, scissors and a tamping tool, in addition to a tutorial video. The session begins with a brief talk on Moroccan craftsmanship and a Q&A session, followed by step-by-step guidance through the weaving process. Participants create their own piece, cutting and tying the edges at the end. Artisan weavers oversee the workshop to ensure authenticity and a rich cultural experience. At the end of the workshop, each participant returns the scissors and keeps the rest of the kit to enjoy later.
