Crochet embroidery is the time-honoured technique of applying various materials – such as sequins, jet beads and small tubes – to dresses and fabrics, thus rendering them more precious and elegant. Italian crochet embroidery is performed with crochet hooks without a wooden handle. This technique enables the embroiderer to be much more nimble and precise than working with a needle, therefore achieving longer and more complex embroidery work. This introductory course enables complete beginners to become familiar with the craft and decide if they are interested in a more thorough training. The course comprises two three-hour lessons from 9am to 12pm held over two days.
