Pulvis Art Urns is a ceramics workshop with a calling to celebrate life by turning urns into works of art. Contemporary artist Aleksandar Yuzev, ceramicist Mihail Mihajlov and marketing expert Denislav Nikolov founded their atelier in 2016. Working with a team of more than 13, the trio infuses contemporary flair into handcrafted objects of beauty, in a sensitive industry. It took the team one year to develop their first six models, which sparked the interest of clients from around the world. Today, Pulvis Art Urns offers over 80 designs and 50 different glazes, which equals to 800 different products and 50 models. In 2022, the atelier launched its Pet Urns lines for clients' deceased animal companions.
Pulvis Art Urns is keen on creating new models with new materials. At first, the urns were produced solely from ceramics, now they are made from glass, wood, bronze, leather and carbon. The manufacturer collaborates with different artists and ateliers, and features a large decoration department where custom designs are developed. The process of making a ceramic urn is very elaborate and time consuming, comparable to jewellery making. Pulvis Art Urns also developed an inner rubber lining of the urn, so that if the urn gets broken, not a single piece of ash gets spilled.
