Based in Calenzano, close to Florence, Marioni is an internationally renowned Italian company, that manufactures furniture, lighting, upholstery and home accessories. Its distinguishing feature is a focus on quality, and a special attention to colour combinations, finishes and decorations. In recent years, new collections, as well as unique pieces and limited editions, have been created thanks to the collaboration with famous designers, sculptors and artists.
Marioni has always remained a family business, now in its third generation. The story behind the business is a captivating one. It all began with Paolo, the founder, who in 1966 set up a ceramic workshop in Florence, only to see it swept away by a devastating flood. He moved the workshop to the Florentine hills and worked hard to make his activity flourish. Over the years, production grew, and the baton was passed down to the next generation. The quality and love that go into crafting Marioni’s products have remained unchanged.
