This embroidered installation combines mulberry silk, tussar silk and natural deadwood. Silk threads are suspended, wrapped and entwined around the wood to form layered waterside motifs inspired by Jiangnan. It took 20,400 hours to embroider the artwork, which was customised for the Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou Center and is now on display in the lobby of the hotel.
