Traditional Overflow

This sculpture by Andrés Anza was hand built from ceramic as a hollow form and covered with thousands of individually shaped clay spikes. It was high-temperature fired and finished with a layer of acrylic paint to accentuate its richly textured surface. Exploring movement and fluidity, the piece suggests a living presence and creates a subtle tension that draws the viewer’s gaze, inviting closer observation.
