Mixed media
This sculpture by Saad Qureshi was hand built from mixed media including wood, Idenden and sand. The structure combines domes, arches, columns and intricate openwork details into a freestanding composition, all painted in monochrome white. Drawing on architectural forms across cultures, the work explores how journeys, histories and acts of remembrance shape our sense of belonging, identity and home.
