Enigme à tics

This gaming table by Bottega Ghianda was created from wenge wood using interlocking joinery and folding techniques to preserve the continuity of the grain across the surface. Triangular jointed details complete and articulate the structure. Designed by Jean Nouvel, the piece was imagined as an enigmatic chest, evoking games that are impossible to play and the idea of 'false drawers' within each of us.
