Plaster
This sculpture by Roberto Fumagalli and Mario Dossi was cast in plaster from a mould derived from the original sculpture by Michelangelo. First taken in the late 19th century, the mould has been reproduced through successive casts and new materials, allowing the work to continue to be recreated today. The piece pays tribute to Michelangelo’s iconic David, preserving its form through a casting tradition passed down over generations.
