Echoes of Summer

This sculpture by Thyme Neelaphanakul was crafted from leather using folding techniques inspired by bai-sri, a traditional Thai plant craft. Informed by the artist’s memories of summertime in the Thai countryside, the work evokes the sensory atmosphere of the season, marked by the buzzing sound of cicadas.
