Esposto in AN ATELIER ALIVE
Sandstone, Paper
This sculpture by Stuart McLachlan was hand cut, assembled and glued from watercolour paper. The structure was bolted and fixed onto a wooden base. Depicting a church perched on a sandstone cliff with its pews placed out in the open air, the work addresses the impact of abuse scandals on religious communities.
