Down the stairs

This sculpture by Peter Hermansson was made using the Graal technique. The drawings were sandblasted onto a layered blown glass surface, then reheated and shaped to build depth and detail. Capturing a moment of psychological descent, the work brings together symbolic elements. A tumbling head, a coin held between teeth and a two-faced profile evoke dreams and inner conflict.
