This tabernacle was designed by Chacko, illustrated by artist Gaia Cairo and crafted by atelier Sampigé & Co. The watercolour painting for the design was translated into marquetry using wood inlay. The colours are the natural hues of the wood, unaltered by any pigments or stains. Depicting three vulnerable animal species from the Indian subcontinent in constricted poses, the piece symbolises the habitat loss impacting our environment.
