Autoritratto

This drawing, made with graphite and pure gold leaf on paper, portrays the artist's own face as rendered by her own hand. The self-portrait, the reverse of the portrait, is born to answer the most frequent question ever posed by man, "Who am I?", a question whose full answer remains denied to us, as we can only glimpse the periphery of our body and never truly see our own face.
