Pleats Series 'Origami' #9

This is a series of digitally distorted spheres that are 3D printed to bring a virtual form to life. Through slip casting, the forms shift into ceramics, and are then cut while pliable to create paper-like edges and flow. The unglazed surfaces are polished, evoking white marble-like porcelain.
