Ghost Alive in the Shell 03
This flat wall panel is made from lacquer and eggshell inlay. Vermilion lacquer is polished using the shuai-roiro technique to create a deep mirror-like surface with the appearance of tame-nuri. A pelvic bone motif is depicted with white eggshell fragments set into the red lacquer background.
