This large-scale photographic pop-up tableau, made by hand from images taken in southern Yunnan, is part of the ‘We are tiger dragon people’ series. Scenes focus on Dai food, documented during the Water Splashing Festival at Dai New Year in Xishuangbanna, where cuisine balances sour, spicy, salty and sweet flavours.
