©Andrew NeuhartLava folds #5
This textile artwork is inspired by an ancient lava flow in the Galapagos that looks like folds in fabric. The image was printed onto fabric then woven and quilted. Red thread is stitched onto the grayish-blue surface to suggest molten origins.
