Part of the Threads of Time series, this textile artwork is inspired by a lake located along the ancient Silk Road near what is now the Karakoram Highway. The aqua hues of the lake contrast with the neutral landscape. To create the piece, linen and paper yarns were interwoven with a printed image of the lake.
