The Hidden Rings of an Oak Tree
This is a sculptural textile work developed from oak residues sourced in the Cognac region. After dyeing, beeswax from Parmeet Kaur Tesson's hive was applied to the textile surface. The fabric was then pleated using paper moulds, stitched to retain its form and mounted on a reclaimed Cognac barrel.
