Silk Road Istanbul

This sculpture is made with paper-thin pâte de verre, with the innovative technique developed by Saman Kalantari. This work, part of the Silk Road series, evokes the Persian carpets in the bazaar of Shiraz, Saman's hometown, the moment the shops are opened to clients. This piece was created in Istanbul.
