Buncheong silver tiger tea cup set
These tea cups are used for powdered green tea. They are crafted from iron-rich red clay using the dumbung method, cutting the heel, immersing the bowl in diluted crematory slip and then removing it. The white tiger, or byeoksa, is a legendary symbol believed to ward off negative energy. In Korean tradition, tigers are often deified within the realms of power and shamanism.
