Shizen-nerikomi blue flower vessel
This Bizen ware flower vessel has a polyhedral form. The clay surface has the texture of unrefined natural clay, known as shizen-nerikomi. Fired in a wood kiln, melted ash created a natural glaze on the top. While the overall tone is bluish, some areas show red spots.
