Quel Bacio

This glass sculpture, supported on a curved steel band, was cast in an open mould, melted and hot-worked at 1200°C. The red imprint of lips in the centre of the sculpture is surrounded by an abstract swirl of colour, an allegory for bewildered emotions following a passionate kiss.
