Delicato Chiffon

Nebulous shades of pink swirl around this sculpture, spreading out in clouds from a pencilled hand encased in the fused glass. Supported on a curved steel stand, the sculpture was cast in an open mould, melted and hot-worked at 1200°C. Delicately coloured glass like soft fabric diffuses throughout the piece to create a dialogue with the design.
