Learn glass working techniques

Cumbria Crystal experiences are delivered by highly skilled professional glass makers who will guide you through your chosen experience step-by-step. In this experience you will use a variety of traditional glass-makers’ tools, to create unique coloured patterns in a round, solid glass paperweight. During this closely supervised hot glass experience you will also learn the secret of including decorative air bubbles in the glass. Once completed, your crystal is put into an annealing oven to cool overnight. You will be told when it is available for collection. No experience is required for this workshop, which is dedicated to participants aged 13 years and above.
