Debbie Lawson is a Scottish artist whose sculptural works occupy a space between the real and the imagined. In her pieces, wild animals and flora emerge from traditional patterned carpets and familiar household items take on new shapes. Her pieces are held in public and private collections worldwide, including those of the UK Parliament, the University of the Arts London, Saatchi Gallery and Perth Art Gallery, which is one of the UK’s oldest public collections. Her work is on permanent display in the Modern Scots gallery. Debbie is a graduate of the Royal College of Art, Central Saint Martins and the University of East Anglia.
