Association De Mains de Maîtres Luxembourg

De Mains De Maîtres Luxembourg is an association devoted to promoting, supporting and elevating the country’s finest craftsmanship. Founded in 2016 at the initiative of HRH Grand Duchess Stéphanie, the association helps craft artists and master artisans showcase their expertise and strengthens Luxembourg’s position as a leading centre for contemporary fine craft. At the core of its mission stands the De Mains De Maîtres Biennale, a large-scale exhibition that celebrates contemporary craftsmanship by bringing together selected Luxembourgish makers and international artists, and encouraging dialogue between skills, gestures and cultures. The association also carries Luxembourg’s craftsmanship beyond its borders. Through exhibitions across Europe and worldwide, it offers artisans prestigious platforms to present their work, and fosters exchanges with key figures in the field, helping to shine a light on Luxembourgish excellence internationally. De Mains De Maîtres Luxembourg asserts its commitment to artisans through grants, scholarships and awards that encourage training, transmission of know-how and the emergence of outstanding projects.
