Lucie vases

This series consists of tall vases and lower bowls on raised bases. The vessels were partially wheel-thrown using chamotte clay, then joined and modified to achieve an oval shape. A matte light beige glaze partially reveals the raw, dark beige clay. The rims of the vessels are accentuated with a dark glaze.
