ReCoil

This elliptical table was made using Hydrowood timber, comprising six reclaimed Tasmanian tree species. The tabletop was formed by coiling over 3 km of strips of veneer offcuts from the different woods. The coils give the object's surface a radiating ring pattern that mimics tree growth rings.
