GIN-SHITSU-SAI tea set

This tea bowl, tea container and water container are part of a set of tea utensils that carries Kazue Wakabayashi’s signature gin-shitsu-sai technique – a silver overglaze finished with urushi lacquer that results in a warm, golden shimmer. The subtle trails of lacquer evoke picture-like landscapes.
