Solstice

Solstice is a modern textile hybrid created with woven and knotted techniques. This densely knotted wall hanging was created from thousands of individual clove hitch knots, and centrally adorned with a large sun symbol. This central sun is made from merino wool and carrizo plant fibre. The result is a modern, minimalist tapestry.
